For a technical problem, include whether you are using the website or iOS app, your device and operating-system version, what you were trying to do, and what happened. A screenshot can help; remove personal information before sending it.

Where is my saved tank?

The website saves your tank in the browser you used to create it. The iOS app saves its own tank on your device. There is no account or syncing between browsers, devices, and the app. Private browsing, clearing website data, or removing app data can remove saved selections.

Saved species are snapshots of their care records. They do not automatically refresh when the catalog changes.

Search or photos are not loading

Check your internet connection and try the search again. On iOS, use Try again when an error appears, or pull down on Explore to refresh the catalog. Four starter care guides and saved tank records can be read offline; additional photos and live searches need a connection.

If the problem continues, send the search term, filters, and approximate time of the error so we can investigate.

How do I remove a species or clear my tank?

Open My Tank and remove the species you no longer want. To start over, use the clear-tank control. In the iOS app, confirm Clear tank when prompted. Clearing your selection does not delete catalog information.

What do comparison warnings mean?

My Tank compares recorded care parameters. Warnings highlight conflicting ranges, different flow needs, or temperaments that need closer review. Missing values are unknown, not a match. Overlapping ranges do not establish behavioral compatibility, and the largest individual minimum tank size is not a combined stocking recommendation.

Report a care-record or photo issue

Send the species name or guide URL, the information you believe needs correction, and a reliable supporting source when available. For photo attribution or rights concerns, include the image or page URL and details of your connection to the work. Original care sources and photo credits appear in each guide.
